Last week ,a NRI relative of mine came to smell the soil of his root i.e he came to India after a long span of time(perhaps he may have show movie swadesh....).
The Indian growth and development made him a happy man..He was very influenced to see the CHAKA
-CHAUDH and denting-painting of his native home.Recent exaltation provide him the proud to discribe india as "golden bird"once again.
Resultantly he came to delhi to observe the mentality of new looked,renovated (hv no ideas it is bcz of commonwealth) Delhi-the face of our country.
Now its my responsibility for his "DELHI DARSHAN". As good host ...avoiding my finance i manage a car for him.
but...what happen???
he totally deny to travel with the car.
but why...because of metro...he want Delhi metro.It made me to think "foreigner also know the metro's grandeur" and the very first time i grasp some gravity due to metro (otherwise i m very distress to wasp).
After some time i acquaintance with the other face of him.
gentlemen was addicted to travel by public transport and using TUBE(London metro) for his circulation.
Due to groundless attraction to foreigner soil,curiously i ask him "you have inestimable treasure,many cars,... then why u use tube??".
very strangely and with unknown expression he said "what non-sense u talking about.... whats the link between my liberties and public transport".
then with sweet smile(perhaps he felt pity ) try to convince me"its our duty to prevent and support to prevent the global warming and the fuel inefficiency".
he was continuing"we all ,even directors of com, CEO,were running for tube with his necktie and Lappy in hand".
The advice gave me divine knowledge...(just like "BATI JAL GAI MERI").
we are treating car as a status symbol.we walk alone toward our 6 seater car as a king avoiding the fact the our situation is just as a bagger for 80% petrol.
we must decrement our time and work capacity in a huge jam on road.but never compromise with our social status..
yes we develop a lot but what about our mentality.....
we all know....WHI....KHATI DESHI!!!!
